It's all about the music!!
A few months ago I did a blog post on great FREE songs available on Amazon. If you're looking for something new, there are a lot of amazing songs to add to your workout mix.
While some of the links don't work anymore (in my blogpost), You can still look up the songs and artists on Amazon or iTunes. Many of the songs are still free or at least worth checking out (like Redlight Kings "Built to Last"). Also loving "Blackout" by Breathe Carolina and that one's still free.

Hearing Damage by Thom York makes me want to run forever. It's the song that plays in New Moon when 1 of they show the characters running through the woods. Maybe it's the visual memory of the running, maybe it's the killer trance like beat to the song. Who knows! It pushes me though.

What I listen to when I'm running is sort of a weird sub section of my musical taste that I think reflects my inner diva. (Which I wasn't even sure I had until I started taking care of myself) A couple of my favorites are:

I find that anything that has a really fast or upbeat pace is great for working out, personally, so I find that I listen to Raise Your Glass (P!nk) and Firework (Katy Perry) a lot. Any rock music is also really good- it takes my mind off the burn of my workout and makes it more enjoyable.

I really love "Best Thing I Never Had" by Beyonce right now - uplifting music and just fits well with my running pace - I can run 4 minutes listening to that and barely notice the time, even if I put it on repeat 5 times, so thats 20 minutes already gone!

Lately I've been enjoying Hey Soul Sister by Train, because of this video:
