Focus on all that you have accomplished! What an incredible accomplishment! Don't let this ruin your day. Hang in there and focus on what is really important--you are a graduate!! emoticon Next year whatever you buy will fall off of you so you'll always have "that dress" that shows how far you have come!

JLJACOBY,

Congratulations on graduating college ! How wonderful !! Don't worry too much about finding the right outfit. Find something that's comfortable because honestly, your cap and gown will cover your clothes for most of the day anyway. So, don't stress out too much. If you're looking to save money, try TJ Maxx or Marshalls. They're always having sales and check out Macy's too. I love their clearance racks ! They carry many different sizes. So, I'm sure you'll be able to find something.

Have you tried Catos, Lane Bryant or Ashley Stewarts nearby? If not maybe Macys or JCPenneys? I hope you can find something. I know the feeling, I will be glad when I can walk into the regular departments and find anything especially when shoppiing the sales, but for now I am thankful for the plus size stores.

JLJACOBYm

I think many of us have walked in your shoes...whether for a graduation, wedding or other big event, it always seems that we never can find an outfit when we are looking for one, but always seem to find a ton when we are not.

This is a very big milestone in your life. Keep looking and see if the store's salespeople can help you choose a nice outfit for your body shape. Many times they know what works for the various body shapes so that it takes a lot of guessing out of the equation. I wish you all the best as you begin your next chapter in your life.

Nancy

Ok I seriously know that I just started trying to lose weight but I am major frustrated right now. I am graduating from college on Friday (Yay) but that means trying to find an appropriate outfit for the ceremony which means shopping. :( I hate shopping, it seems like everytime I find a cute top or pants the store doesn't carry them in my size. GRRRR.. I am about to give up and just go naked!
