I also have a vision board on pinterest. It is a private board that only I can see and has goals, bucket list stuff, inspiration/thinspiration, affirmations, etc.

This has reminded me that I started a vision board...but never completed it. I think I should get working on it again

I like to make my vision boards with Photoshop, then they can be edited and used as a desktop for frequent reference. emoticon emoticon emoticon

I have collected things over the years to make my vision boards. I just haven't been able to pull it all together. I'd like to make 2 or 3. I was just thinking about that this afternoon.

Thanks for this post. Good luck with your board... emoticon

I made one from magazines years ago. I keep it right next to my computer as a reminder of what I am working for. I do think it helps.

I have a vision board on Pinterest. I look at it when I'm feeling too lazy to workout. And then I go workout. Amazing how that all works emoticon

Is a Vision Board the same as a Motivational Poster? I'd like to make one because I'm sure it would help .... but I don't know what to put on it.

When I stopped smoking before, I had colorful index cards with different sayings on them plastered all over my house & car and they helped me quite a bit.

I've done one and it's on my spark page. It helps out a lot when I'm down in the dumps.

I've been encouraged to do one for a couple of years and never have. However, 2014 is a new year and I just started mine. I plan on working hard this year for all my visions to come true.

Ive done vision boards, but I do not have them posted on SP. I don't know if they helped me or motivated me, but it did make me feel good. So perhaps it helped in that way.

Yes, I have done a couple over the years. They are in a folder. I look at them occasionally I will have to pull them out of my file. You have motivated me. Thanks for starting this thread.

I recently made a vision board for my business class. I included things from my personal life so I would make time for self care. I'm going to make a new one to include my goals here on spark people!

When I was in cosmetology school I made a vision board. On there, I had pictures of famous hairdressers. (Famous in the hair world I should say.) I put stuff on there that I never thought I would do, places I never thought I would go, and people I never thought I would meet. And you know what? It all came true. I not only met these famous people, but I got to work with them ON STAGE at some of the biggest hair shows in the country. I had no money, and yet I traveled to Chicago, California, Florida... I did these incredible things I just didn't think could become reality.

But you know what? I don't have a vision board now. It's so weird. I know that it really does work, and it's SO easy to do, yet I just keep putting it off. Pathetic.

Yes, I have done three vision boards so far. I am getting ready to do my 4th. I am planning on posting my 4th one to my SparkPage. I didn't post the last 3 though. I do think that if you post it where you will see it regularly that it does help.

I didn't have a board per say. I had insprational quotes and motivating remainders on the wall throughout my house.
I would just write something on a piece of paper and tape it to a wall somewhere in the house where I would see it periodically. I would make it fun with crazy handwriting or pictures and even cutting letter out of a magazine and using them.
In fact, my first quote to myself was what you use as your "name"
