This is a review from the Daily Spark about vibration training by Coach Dean. It has a lot of good information on whether or not you should be using this device. It could be unsafe as well as ineffective.

Before you decide to try this machine out, you might want to watch some of the videos posted on YOUTUBE. These videos will give you an idea of what sort of exercises could be done. You'll have to decide for yourself whether or not you think you're healthy or fit enough to try them. Coach Dean does make a point that vibration technology might be good for someone with experience, he does not recommend them for beginners.

My personal opinion ? I might try it, but I probably wouldn't use it on a regular basis. They remind me too much of these exercise machines and well, they weren't effective either.

I have to say I agree 100% with Unident. They are a waste of money unless a physical therapist is helping you recover from an injury with one. I'd trade it in for something more useful and less gimmicky.

I'd put it on Craigslist. There is no functional benefit for exercising on a vibro-plate. They may help a little with some injury recovery, but they don't burn more calories or make you stronger when you do exercises on them.

They're a myth and a scam, and I'm sorry you wasted some money on it before asking... :(

Newly acquired vibro plate machine and I don't know what to do on/with it. Does anyone use one and can point me in the direction of correct use and possible exercises I can do on the machine.
