I'm going to be rooming with a dozen or more people, and I generally don't like working out in front of people, so I want to be more cardio-focused, and/or something I can do outdoors. I think jump rope interval training is the answer.
And I already have my at-home back up plan if the weather is bad, or to change it up, the Sparkpeople Cardio Blast Jump Rope routine!

LEC's post reminded me: a Tabata workout you can take with you
I'm setting up a new workout system that will involve me taking on a new challenge every 28 days (excluding the Body Revolution which will take 3 months to complete)
Starting Friday, I'm doing the 28 Day bootcamp with Coach Nicole, and I think I may get a new Leslie Sansone 30 Day program for the end of August/beginning of September.
That still leaves 8 weeks in between. I'm considering Ripped in 30 for the second 4.
The problem is, I leave for a short 3 day vacation right after I finish the bootcamp. I won't be able to bring my DVDs with me, so I need a challenge I can take with me. I can pack my jump rope, so a jump rope challenge might work, but I am interested in other ideas. I'm not a runner, and I try not to include walking in my challenges outside of Leslie Sansone workouts because I already have a 10,000 step goal. Walking is a given.
