I leave for vacation tomorrow to go see friends (and family) that I haven't seen in MONTHS and some for a year! It's going to be a rough week because what do we always do but, "you want to get dinner?? let's go for drinks!!" etc etc. It'll be a big temptation re-visiting all of my old favorite places, so I'll have to be extra mindful, but it can be done!!

I am currently off track from a vacation, but I am trying to show myself some compassion and get my groove back.
Pack fruit instead of power bars and try to walk as much as possible. When I'm on vacation I don't drive unless my destination is farther than 3 miles away. If I need to go to the grocery store/ coffee shop/ beach I walk there and back.

If you are able to do so, I recommend download the app for your smart phone. Then you can keep logging all your food.
Nearly every hotel I've ever been to has a gym or pool; you can get up early and head down for a pre-breakfast workout. Make sure you and your family take breaks during the drive so you can get out and stretch your legs; walk around the rest area, do some squats in the stall, etc. At the reunion, bring a frisbee and start playing with anyone who's interested. (If there will be kids, you know they'll want to play with that or a kick ball or something.)

Sounds like a wonderful time to simply keep to basics and focus more on enjoying yourself!! I wouldn't plan to track anything... Just set some small mental goals you know are healthy...your water, your fruits & veggies (great car snacks!), and keeping your portions to a reasonable size....
For exercise, enjoy carrying those bags up the stairs in the hotel...and walk the hallways! Your kids will also need to "run around" after being in a car: if you've a pool to play in, tread water....challenge the kids to a foot race at a local park...explore new places......
I am just getting back on track with mindful eating, tracking (using MyFitnessPal) and exercise. I leave for a week long trip in about 10 days and I am already panicking. I will be traveling with my kids and inlaws and will have no control over my schedule (their family reunion, etc). It's going to be a very busy trip, lots of driving, changing hotels, etc. and I'm worried that I won't have an outlet of exercise. I'm also worried about eating. I plan on bringing some power bars with me to help out and I'm focusing on using these next 10 days as well as possible to get me in a strong frame of mind.
Any suggestions or ideas to help me with this? I do want to enjoy meeting people and just letting go in terms of the schedule but I am just getting my momentum back and am a bit bummed that this trip is so soon.
