I would just track your food and workout. Also read an article once a week. I think that is a good place to start. It can be over whelming at first. But the longer you are on here the easier it gets.

I recently came back to SparkPeople and am working in steps to fully utilize the site. If I tried to do everything suggested or available at once, I'd never stick with it. Familiarize yourself with what's here and go at your own pace. My goal every week is to do enough to challenge myself without being overwhelmed. Good luck!

SP can be overwhelming because of all the resources. Don't feel like you have to dive into the deep end of the pool right off. Enter your food and fitness, read some articles, post a blog, engage on the message boards. Do whatever you feel comfortable with. The fact that you're here is a great start!

I'm new to this program so realize I am still in the learning and beginning stages. What I am already struggling with is that I feeling like I spend so much time on the computer or my phone trying to figure all this out. I'm afraid if I just put in my food and exercise I'm not using this to its full potential but also feel overwhelmed by how much is in front of me. Any suggestions on how to get into a good/time efficient routine??
