It's not pathetic, but a single mile at a 10 minute pace isn't amazing either. There is a lot of room for improvement. It is a great start and certainly better than what most people can do. :)

Not really...that's about average, probably a little better pace than the average person. A lot of people run 12-15 minute miles.

I just ran from my house the water tower right outside of my housing development(about a mile) and it took me 10 MINUTES! Thats pretty pathetic no? I am only 22 and I feel like I am about 82!
