A lot of people will tell you that you need to ditch the diet soda. I would try to cut that back. If you are drinking a lot of it, it can be hard to just stop. So, just reduce the amount that you are drinking and eventually stop when you can. As for just doing the treadmill, if you are at the gym then I would say add something like the elliptical. It's not going to hurt to add variety. Or even try out the stationary bike.

I don;t know if this needs to be mentioned or not: I do have a diet soda addiction, but again, I had it always even when I lost weight.
I'm thinking of cutting it and see if that works.
If it does, I'm sure I will be very motivated and chuck this habit.

I'm thankful to you for reading through this. I do think that weight gain is TOM related.

PS- so do you think I can still 'just' do treadmill, or do I need to add some variety?
I will add 100 calories and see if it gets better! :)

Wow, this is tough. You are doing everything right. I think you need to just stick with what you are doing. You haven't had that long since your vacation and putting on the extra weight. I think the two pounds you just put on is TOM related. Even though TOM is delayed it is still likely to cause some increase in water weight. I think you should keep eating the calories you are eating. Maybe even boost them by 100 calories or so to see if that will give you a little kick start. I don't think you are really in a plateau yet. I think your body just needs to get used to what your doing again. It has to have time to lose the weight. Does that make sense? Give it some time. Also, I'm sure that someone else will be on and give you some more advice.

Hey, Iam logging my food in an app on my mobile.
I started this journey in April--first few pounds came off pretty quick. Then I was stuck for three months( i was not eating well)
Then, since November I started losing. I got down to 145 till January. I went on a vacation, had put on just two pounds, and ever since I have been stuck.

I did get back to 147 but now I have gained two more pounds this week.

PS-TOM is delayed, maybe its my cortisol levels or what, IDK. But, I was supposed to have them last week.

Your calories are probably fine if you are actually eating that amount. But my question is, if you are not logging your food how do you know how many calories you are eating? How long have you been stuck at the weight you are at? Are we talking a couple of weeks or a couple of months?

ok my sparkpage is private and I log on to an app on my cell.
So I eat 1200/1400 cals a day.
Im dedicated and I do slip but not as much as last year.
Hope I provided the info.
Even if were to make my sp page public I have not logged here since October.

It is said that weight loss is 20% exercise and 80% in the kitchen. So the question is, how is your eating? How many calories are you eating and what foods are you eating? These things are just as important if not more important than your exercise. You cannot outrun or workout a bad diet. So, lets start with what you're eating and go from there.

Hi, I'm currently training to run. I have done three 5K's in the last one month but I have walked them.I also like walk away the pounds.
I have to lose some 24 pounds, and I'm not seeing any changes on the scale.
I do see changes in the way clothes fit me, however. (kickingkilos.blogspot.in/2013/02/frenemy.h

I possibly could not do cha-lean and stuff as I have a bad knee.

Also, I'm not too sure if this is plateau or not, so how do I tweak my workouts?
