Hello and welcome! Sounds lik you are making a lot of positive changes in your life. I love hiking, although i have only been able to do very simple hiking. That is actually on my list of things to do... some real hiking on unpaved trails! I'll get there!!! I have a new outlook on life and am feeling GREAT!!!

I started SparkPeople a couple years ago but I'm in a much better place now and more prepared to shed this extra weight. My secret...HIKING!! Now that I graduated from college last year, moved to RVA, ditched the boyfriend, and have a job, I have free time to spend on things I love to do, like hiking and being social! I also got a dog that helps keep me active every day. I've been really good about tracking EVERYTHING, which is something I struggled with before. There are some things I have a hard time with because SparkPeople doesn't have the largest selection of foods in the database...but I'm motivated to add these things to make tracking easier.
I'm really liking the new me and I'm more motivated than ever!
