it goes well in curry dishes. A good one is saute onions, 1 can rinsed chick peas, 1 head chopped cauliflower and a bit of chicken stock to cook it down. Tumeric, salt and red pepper flakes and Marsala.

Put it in egg salad or deviled eggs and its The Bomb. FYI, if you have an Indian market nearby theres an awesome tumeric skin cream called "Vico", its great for feet. If you make any kind of curry theres lots of tumeric in those recipes. Hope this helps a little.
I recently started taking about 1 teaspoon of Turmeric with water before bed every night because I read that it was one of the best natural pain killers around. I don't have real intense pain at night or anything but my legs do ache some and it constantly wakes me up. I don't think that I have Restless Leg Syndrome because it's not that intense but none the less it can be very annoying and reduce my sleep quality. Well after starting to take the Turmeric the leg aching has completely stopped so I assume that I can contribute the results to the Turmeric because nothing else changed except that. After doing further research on Turmeric I discovered that people have contributed all kinds of health benefits to this very easily attained spice so I figured that I should try and work some in while cooking so my wife and kid will enjoy some of those benefits because they are not just going to down a glass of horribly tasting turmeric water like I do. LOL Do any of you have any good healthy recipes that has Turmeric as a main ingredient?
