I had mine done 10 months ago and have no problems! I do feel a little more hormonal than before for some reason but maybe its just stress?

Thanks for sharing your experiences. I scheduled my surgery today for two months from now so I have some time to think about it. I know for sure that I don't want more kids. The problem is that it will be a risky surgery because of my history of already having major abdominal surgery. I wish I would have had it done after my second child.

I had my tubal after a c-section as well. It has been great! My periods are shorter and less cramping. There is more bleeding the first day, but then is light after that!

I had one but they did it after they did my C-section two years ago. I haven't had any side effects except that my periods are now 3 days long instead of 5-7 like they used to be. I got pregnant 3 months after my daughter was born while I was on the pill so a tubal was a must for me.

I recently spoke with my gyn about getting a tubal. He went through all of the risks with me which were pretty scary. Can ya'll offer your input and experience to help me make a decision? I can't stand the hormonal birth control any longer.
