Definately just the calories in the mix. Sometimes info can be confusing.

It looks like the calorie calculations are only for the chili mix. You would have to add the other ingredients to your calorie count.

I have this mix from Another Blonde Moment - Bleached Blonde Chili.
This has been a favorite of mine to make in the winter, but now that I am losing weight, I am looking at calories, etc.
The recipe is as follows:
1 bag Bleached Blonde Chili Mix 3 (14 ounce cans Chicken Broth 2 12.5 ounce cans Chicken Breast OR 3 chicken breasts (cooked, chopped) OR 1 Rotisserie Chicken (shredded) 2 cans northern OR navy beans 1 10 oz can diced rotel tomatoes (mild or regular)
Combine and cook in crock pot for 2 hours.
Now here is my question - the nutrition facts on the back say:
Serv Size: 8oz Servings per container: 10 Calories: 29 Total fat: 2g Cholest 0mg Sodium 20mg Total Carbs 6g Fiber: 4g Sugars 0g Protein 6g
So, in looking at this, it looks to be a good thing to eat while dieting. BUT.. here is my question:
How can Mix, Chicken Broth, cans of Chicken Breast, 2 cans northern and diced rotel tomatoes (mild)
be only 29 calories per serving???? How can the sodium count be so low.... It just does not seem to make sense to me.
Can anyone attempt to figure this one out for me.... I don't want to jinx my weight loss so far by thinking I'm eating something good for me, and it really not be....
Thanks in Advance!
