Hello all - I'm 29 and TTC #1. I am on my second round of Clomid, which comes with numerous side effects, including weight gain. I am at a healthy weight (within the ideal range) but not wanting to gain before getting pregnant (I have no problem with healthy weight gain during pregnancy!). I've been very careful to research and talk with my doctor about diet and exercise. In general, you want to maintain as healthy a diet as possible and exercise regularly throughout conception and pregnancy, as it aids with delivery. However, high impact exercise is warned against for obvious reasons. Ellipticals are strongly recommended - we bought a new one last week to replace our old. Best of luck!
