I stay motivated because I like how it makes me feel, and any thing I can do to live a happy healthy life I am going to do it. I do some type of workout everyday and I eat healthy and take my vitamins,supplements. WWW.deeturner.herbalhub.com

I hear you!! I used my birthday and Christmas presents for a personal trainer 2 times a week. She kicks my butt and it motivates me to work out for the entire week!!

I hear you! I'm stuck too - just try every day, every meal, to make good food choices, in proper portion sizes. Exercise, even if it's only 10 minutes. Above all, look to your Spark Friends and the boards for motivation and support.

It sounds like you also need to look at more interesting workouts. I used to get bored with the workout videos that I had. They didn't change enough to keep me interested and I wasn't challenged. I started doing some new Beachbody programs that I fell in love with. I feel stronger and have tons more energy. I have been doing two programs consistently since February. I am normally a person who gets sick all the time and gets injured (bad knees and bad back). I also got sick back in August; for about a week I didn't work out once. I was worried about not picking my routine back up, but I started slow and was back in my normal routine within a week. If you enjoy kick boxing type workouts, you should try TurboFire; it's a lot of fun.
Just know you are not alone. I'm in almost the exact same spot as you are, but you're getting more exercise! It's been one reason after another with me, starting with blisters on my feet and going to pain in my toes, knees and chest. I haven't consistently worked out since the end of October. I've managed to lose 3.3 lbs in that time through diet alone, but I'm not feeling as strong anymore. And I know from experience I can lose weight through diet alone, but I didn't keep it off. That's my motivation. I want to keep it off for good this time and I know to do that I need to workout. I hope you find your motivation soon.
Decide why you want to get healthy. Once you have that firmly in place, little to nothing can stop you. I want to be healthy. Losing weight and getting fit are just side benefits. I want to run around with my nieces and nephews. I want to dance at their weddings and play with their kids (when they have them-- one is only 8 months old). I want to show them how to live a healthy lifestyle. My goal-- have 100% function of body, mind and spirit with no evidence of disease.

I've been on SparkPeople a couple of months ago...then I fell off the "exercise wagon" when I came down with the flu and was out of commission for a week ... I know, horrible excuse. I've still been taking walks on my breaks at work (I sit at a desk) but previously I was using my lunchbreak to visit our fitness center here at work and use the elliptical or treadmil, sometimes the weight machines. SO... here I am, again, and I've not really worked out for a few weeks other than the short 15 minute walks I take daily.
Long story...shorter... is that I've not gained any weight since I stopped my daily workouts. Motivation is hard for me when I did not see any negativity to the fact that I stopped my workouts. I guess my eating has stayed pretty consistant, so that has something to do with it I'm sure, and my water intake is still up. I guess my whole reason for posting here is for some motivation to get my butt back into gear and back into the gym. Today I did a calisthetics session with a lot of squats, pushups and leg lifts and I feel great knowing that my arms and legs will probably be sore tomorrow... that good sore that I'd gotten so used to.
