Ha, I was just thinking about this. I look at foodgawker.com (along with tons of other blogs) and I was getting sooo tired of all the sweets recipes in December! It's like, people like to eat other stuff than cookies too! The other day, 2 of the blogs I read posted the exact same granola bar recipe (that they got from the same source), in the same day. I thought that was funny.

But, I guess I sort of get it. A lot of the blogs I read tend to post healthier stuff (except during december!) using seasonal ingredients and, well, we're in the vegetable doldrums right now... so they gotta get creative!

Perhaps it's just me, but I notice that food consumption seems to go in trends, especially if you're inclined to read food/recipe blogs.

Approaching Christmas, it seems everyone was making cookies, stuffed with other things, including store-bought cookies. I couldn't figure out the reasoning, but I noticed they were everywhere.

Now that "healthy" January has hit, it seems everyone is promoting baked eggs.

Has anyone else noticed "repetitive" suggestions for food consumption/recipe ideas in your wander around the Web?
