Buyer beware on a used treadmill. They can be difficult to move and re-calibrated unless you are an expert. Someone I know bought a used one and when they transported it all of the oil spilled out of the motor and it couldn't be used. I have a Nordic Trac and enjoy it very much. Have had it two years and just now having issues with the incline but it was worth the money. Can walk any day....inside.

I walk on the treadmill at the gym if the weather is bad and with music/tv it can be less boring. It is really important that you do not hold on to the bars of your treadmill when you walk and that you do it at an incline. You burn more calories when you do not hold on and I read that if you do it w/o an incline the machine is doing the work for you.

Enjoy! emoticon

emoticon I love to walk but sometimes the weather up here sucks. I'm gonna have to invest in a treadmill. CONGRATULATIONS, BLACKHAWKS! emoticon

I love my treadmill. I use it 9 months of the year. Summer I am outside.

If you buy your treadmill from QVC or HSN you can usually get a great deal. You can also pay them with flex pay, so you can spread your payments over 5-6 months AND they always have free shipping, which is a big help. That's how I bought my Proforma and I love it. You can also usually find them in classified ads of your local newspaper. People buy them at the beginning of the year and then use them a few times and then give up. You can get some great deals that way too. I love my treadmill. If I was walking outside right now, I'd have melted. It's over 100 out there and with all the fires, it's holding the heat in. Awful!

I've been looking for one myself. I'm looking on Amazon, you might want to look there.

I love the treadmill. We have them in the gym at my complex. I hope to eventually be able to get one for my house.

Mine is an ancient Nordic Track. Purchased in 2000, many miles on it, with only one belt replacement. I too love my trusty treadmill, I can catch up on TV shows without guilt, work out in any weather. I agree second hand would be great. We have some stores in Georgia that sell second hand sports equipment. It's called, Play it again sports or something similar. Be careful with Craigslist, lot's of scams have been occurring.

I would highly recommend a search on Craig's list or other such site to see if you can get a used one. There are tons of good models, and lots of them for sale. If cost is a big factor, then getting a used one ay be the best way to go.

I would never say Dreadmill! I LOVE mine. I have a NordicTrack with iFit and it's the best investment in my health that I've ever made.

I just bought the treadmill workout on iTunes. Anything to change it up a little!
