Oh I am glad you are seeing those results too. And you're right it's mainy for strength and toning etc, however you can get set some cario work outs on there too. They won't be the same kind you are used too. Do you have the squat board? I use that for "running". I use small weights and pump my arms while doing so. Keep up the good work, we can do this!

It is a resistance and strength training piece of equipment and is not designed to be used for cardio.

I also purchased one about a month ago. So far I absolutely love it for my upper body toning. i don't think it can be used for high calorie burning cardio in my opinion. I really like to use it for toning my arms which everyone is noticing and toning my thighs. I have noticed I am losing inches and I am excited about that.

Thanks, I've been working out on it for about 3 weeks and can feel the difference. I was afraid that it might not count as a "real workout" then I moved the resistance up a notch today. Whooooooooooo that was a workout but I did it!

I have a Total Trainer which is an equivalent machine. Both are semi based on the Pilates Reformer and all three fall into the category of assisted bodyweight exercise. By adjusting angles the resistance of your bodyweight is increased. TRX or suspension training is also a form of assisted bodyweight training. All work and will give you an excellent workout when used consistantly.
