Folate is found in food. Folic acid is a type of folate used in a vitamin supplement. I suggest you use the folate, total. This will give you more if needed:

Sparkpeople allows you to track your Folate three different ways: 1. Folate, total 2. Folate, food and 3. Folic Acid. What is the difference between these three. Are there seperate jobs of each? If so, what are they? Is one more important than the others?
