My boss brought in maple cream cookies from Trader Joe's last week. They are delicious and at 110 calories a pop they're also pants-shrinking (as evidenced by the fact that on Friday I was 333 calories over my plan for the day and I had three of those cookies throughout the day). Another boss hauled the leftover cookies out of the cupboard this morning and left them on the counter. I ignored them. When I heated my lunch up, there was just one left and though I badly wanted that last cookie, I told my boss that there was one left and that he should eat it so that I wouldn't. And he did.
I'm proud of myself for not eating that cookie.
