Everyday is the first day of the rest of your life, this does get easier, and then you crash...guess what....today is the first day of the rest of your life. You have to take everyday and make good choices, I honestly think if you make more good decisions than bad ones, you will win everyday!!!!

I just had my first day a couple of weeks ago, one of many first days, I also came up with a plan. Right now it's just dieting stuff and I am going to gradually add a day or two or three of exercise. I keep busy with lots of house and yard stuff.
I am doing one major thing differently, I only weigh in once a week; I also measure my waist then too. Previously I would weigh myself everyday and it would stress me out. I looked at everyday as a mass challenge and for me that was not a good idea. I didn't really look at losing weight weekly, I looked at it daily. Daily is bad for me because I would see my failures daily and it would bring me down; and my weight didn't really change.
Now I look at it as a weekly thing and my weight loss has been steady, 7 lbs so far. I am actually happy if I lose 1 or 2 lbs. a week because it's weight gone and if I can keep it that steady it will add up and it has so far.
For me slow and steady wins the race. I now try not to have the biggest loser mind set and it really helps. It's not realistic to want to drop 10+ lbs a week, but I use to think that and it brought me down. Just keep doing what you're doing and you will get there... I know it.

As Louise Hay says in "You Can Heal Your Life" learn to love yourself & look in the mirror and say it. You DESERVE to be slim and fit.
My son and his wife were married last August at a resort in Hawaii along the beach. It was a beautiful 10 days. This spring they went on a vacation for 2 weeks to BALI. I know u will love Hawaii. BEACHBODY READY.

Of the rest of my life, right? Well, ok then. Today I am already following my plan - I've worked out (though I could have done a bit more cardio), I'm drinking my water, I'm counting calories. Baby steps, right? I will see the results of this new lifestyle by the time I leave for Hawaii in October!
