You can do it. Giving up both bourbon and artificial sweeteners is a great thing to do. I have never used the artificial sweeteners, because something inside me kept saying that they couldn't be GOOD for me. I avoided them long before they started to say they were not good for us. I don't particularly like bourbon but have an occasional mixed drink with some of the other options.

I am used to sipping a glass of bourbon in the evening, I decided to stop doing that, I also decided today to give up all artificial sweetners ie equal in my tea and no more diet soda. I have heard that they are bad for you, it is going to be hard, as I like flavored drinks, but I am going to try and just drink water. Maybe it will make a difference in my weightloss, I sure hope so, and I hope I can do this.
