Yesterday I missed exercising. By the time I got home from work, ate, finished up more work it was 8pm. I was tired from a long day. But, I realized that I did in fact "miss" exercising that day. I felt like something was missing from my day to complete it.

I have built in 30 minutes or more of exercising daily. Normally before I eat dinner is best. On days where something comes up, and I've skipped it, it turns out that I really missed not exercising. Who would have thought that I would feel that way? Not me!

Ended my Fast Track yesterday. Today begins step 2 of my SparkDiet. I am slowly becoming more and more comfortable tracking my food and exercising daily. I feel like this is a attainable goal I've set to lose 40-50lbs by September 2013.

Today is a cold, wet, dreary day in RI. I am looking forward to this next week hopeful that the scale will move in the downward direction. I'm in day 5 of my Fast Break and so far so good. With faith in God and myself I can achieve anything.

Today is a new beginning. I figure as long as I keep striving to achieve where I want to be, I will eventually get there. After all, it's not a race. It's a journey.

That's my goal too, but I'm not there yet :)

I have been paying attention to what I am eating at every meal. I am no longer eating in front of the TV, or reading a book while eating, or playing on the IPad. I am concentrating on what I am eating and taking my time finishing. It's said that it takes 20 minutes for the stomach to let the brain know it is full. I have also noticed that when I slow down and do feel full without having to finish my plate.
All in all it's been a good day.
