I have been paying attention to what I am eating at every meal. I am no longer eating in front of the TV, or reading a book while eating, or playing on the IPad. I am concentrating on what I am eating and taking my time finishing. It's said that it takes 20 minutes for the stomach to let the brain know it is full. I have also noticed that when I slow down and do feel full without having to finish my plate.
All in all it's been a good day.
