I am in the same place you are (3 c-sections). Even though I can see changes in the rest of my body, the area just above where I had my incision is just nasty and flabby. Working out and eating healthy is not doing much to reduce it. Hoping that in time, it will improve like the rest of my body.

Totally agree with the previous poster but have found that reverse crunches (in addition to other core work) helps that area...but not dramatically.

You can't tone flab, flab is fat. You can get a stronger core through strength training but you won't see the muscle as long as there is fat on top. Unfortunately, and this is coming from a mom who has also had C-sections, there is no way to get rid of the excess flap after C-sections with the exception of surgery. You *may* be able to reduce it somewhat by losing weight but losing weight is an all over body process, you can't target fat loss.
Strength training the core after pregnancy is still important to regain strength; various plank holds and crunches as well as 1 exercise for your low back. You only need 2 core exercises for 2-3 sets and 2-3x a week on non-consecutive days. You can change the variation of the exercise every 4-6 weeks.

What are some good moves for toning my flabby c-section tummy. It look insane and gross.
