I have to say, though, that I'm really frustrated that a size X isn't the same across the board. I found some pants I liked online after figuring out that I could pull mine down while buttoned, so I bought three different colors in the size that fits me well now. I got them yesterday and, while they buttoned, I'm afraid to wear them because I'm worried I'll pop the button. I have this same size at home and they are a bit loose and I need these pants now but I can't wear them yet. Sigh....and we wonder why we have such bad images of ourselves when there is no consistency that we can count on.

This is fun! I love reading about the progress. I want to buy something new, but have been holding off to see if I can jump off this plateau first. I wonder how patient I can be.

I still wear my "big" clothes, even though they hang on me everywhere. I will wear them for as long as I can before buying smaller sizes. I paid a lot of money for those big clothes and I'm certainly gonna get my money's worth from them. emoticon I'm not worried about fashion at this time...that may come with a thinner me. Now, I simply focus on my weight-loss.

Way to go Lala! What a wonderful feeling. Yesterday I tried on a pair of capris that I could not zip for the past 3 years!

Congratulations!! I think that's wonderful. The last time I lost weight I kept one pair of pants to remind me how much I had lost and thought that they would remind me that I didn't want to fit into them ever again...... bad idea. I am back on track and heading in the right direction, but his time once I get where I want to be and am able to maintain it as well the big clothes are ALL going out!!

Wow that is great as it means two things: 1. you lost the weight and 2. you have fully committed to your new lifestyle (as opposed to holding on to the bag "just in case"

Enjoy

Got a big bag of clothes, I have to get rid of. I am about ready to get rid of the clothes, that I can't fit into yet either. ITs been 5 years, want something, new. Just keep the clothes, that I have. No room in my closet. Most of them, I have bought at the consignment store, anyways.

A big step - congrats!

I've gotten rid of my very biggest clothes (14-22), but am still nervous about the ones closer to my current size.

Nice Lala! Actually, I've kept a few of the pants I can take off without undoing and shirts that are actually sails. I wear them once in a while to remind myself of the bad old days and how I never want to go back there.

I still have some big clothes that I have to get rid of. Pants that are 6" to big for me around the waist and quite baggy around the legs.

I finally got rid of my "BIG" clothes!!! It took me some time, but I know I'm gonna stick to my healthy eating!
