Hello SparkPeople! I'm Kat and I'm very happy to be here! I have a LOT to loose, a LOT to gain and I look very much forward to being part of the community! emoticon I am an excellent supporter, but find that I really push back on support which is not what I need to be doing. I'm approaching my 1st anniversary as a non-smoker and I think it's time to deal with this weight. About 5 years ago I lost over 100lbs, but a combo of injuries and life events sent me back to the sedentary life and right back to square one.
I'm a blogger by nature, and an underemployed freelance writer by trade looking to get back to health while doing all that and going back to school. :-)
Oh... I've recently discovered a passion for healthy cooking, and hope to become more herbivore than omnivore too, but all in good time.
I am very excited to be here! emoticon Please don't hesitate to contact me, it may take a day or two before I dive into everything while I figure it all out.
