Although I recognize the importance of this, it's very hard for me to do .... it seems like there are so many competing interests or things I don't have control of. And yet, when I did plan for exercise time & follow thru, I had great results so I guess I better find the way to reestablish this habit.

Yes I schedule my exercise time otherwise I would find something else to do and forget about exercise! I plan my exercise like any other activity like a meeting, Doctor's appointment etc...

I do because alot of times I take swim classes, and that's by appointment. For my walks I schedule them after work, and sometimes I don't always follow through.

Yes, and no. When I know that I have something going on, I will make sure to squeeze it in somewhere, and take a rest day when time is crunched. But when I'm largely free, I'm more flexible.

During the work week, yes, I plan for it -- every morning between 8:30 and 9:30. On the weekends, I'm a little more flexible. I like hiking/walking, so if weather permits, I will choose those activities. If not, I hit the gym. I usually take one day off a week.

For the most part yes, as walks are scheduled 4 days a week and planks are everyday but for once a week rest days.

Exercise is a daily habit for me--just like drinking my coffee in the morning, showering & brushing my teeth....I get up, I get the kids to school, come home & EXERCISE. Every morning, 7 days a week--it's how I start my day!

I try to plan the days during the week, because it keeps me more focused. Plus, I know what I need to do that day. emoticon

I do schedule my time in to work out... monday, tues, thurs and sometimes wed am are my time... I go at the same time every time and the family knows when I get my specific shoes on its time..

What is hard is planning time when things go outside that schedule and unplanned events.. then its like that times screwed up, I have yet to learn to adjust that work out time and just go in the mornings when I can when time is screwed up like that LOL

To keep fit and strong, its almost mandatory to make a time and to keep strickt to it otherwise it doesn't happen and becomes another excuse

I schedule my exercise. I usually plan it out the day beforehand and pack clothing accordingly so I can exercise right after work. On days where I don't do that, I end up getting side tracked and have to force myself to get some exercise later on.

time management is not my best subject and my plans tend to shift often. I set a daily goal and then kind of go with the flow as to exactly when or what I will do.

This is something that I need to start doing. So far, I've been planning most of my exercise time for after work. The problem with that is some days I am just dead tired when I get home. Early AM would work better for me, if I could get my butt out of bed earlier.

I plan out my workout schedule on the weekend for the week because some nights I work out alone after work and some I wait for my hubby to get home and we work out together. If I don't plan, time gets away from me and I let the workout slide.

Before I returned to college this past January, I used to exercise daily and planned a week's activities at a time. Then as the term got going, all that came to an abrupt stop.

I made a decision today though that from now on, I'm getting back into a fitness routine & if that means that I get one lesser letter grade per class, my health is more important than a transcript.

If I've learned anything at all since starting with SP, it's that when I work my program, my program works for me.

I have not scheduled my workouts more than a couple of hours ahead of time yet. Right now I'm working out each day whenever I can fit it in. I know I need to do it. I've been good so far about not missing them (though I've only started working out again this past Monday), but I know the way I'm doing it now might make it hard to stick with it in the long run.

No. My schedule is very flexible so I don't have to plan or struggle to find time to exercise.

My struggle is against motivation and not liking exercise. I do exercise most days because being stronger and healthier is a priority.

Yes - I plan my strength training first thing in the morning and then I arrive at work early so i can do my walk. Otherwise my exercise time would be sucked into the black hole of my day
