I was so resolved that it was not an issue to give away all my fat clothes. I felt it was affirming the promise I had made myself and insured my maintenance.

I have thrown out my 2x clothes. All of those were donated 10/1. I am on the verge of moving to Large from XL. I am looking forward to dumping those.

No this time I'm not dieting, I am making life changes. I have never in my adult life felt this good about what I am putting in my body, nor have I ever enjoyed exercising before. I am in it to win it! I am either throwing away, or selling through consignment anything that is more then one size to big.

Nope. Not this time. Too many times, I've lacked the committment to ensure that it's a lasting change, so I threw everything out except for the "big girl pants" in my profile pic that just emphasises the accomplishment. Although I'm thrifty, I didn't even flinch when I chucked all those over-worn, out of date clothes and I don't miss any of them one bit. I've managed to keep the weight off for almost 2 years now and even if I were to regain any, styles change and thrift shops always have lots of large sized clothing anyway. What's the worst that can happen? Really. Don't have that little faith in yourself.

I tried on a couple of pairs of my dress pants for work, and they are falling off. So tonight when I get home they are going into the donate pile! My mom says to just take them in so that I don't have to spend money on new clothes. I think they look and fit funny when I do that, so they are going to Goodwill! I'm willing to get rid of the ones that are too big....I'm tired of looking at them!

Is anybody else out there afraid to take the leap of faith and throw out their "fat" clothes? You know, just in case.
