Best of luck on your journey. You are right, until you find something that works for you, nothing is going to work. emoticon

It is your journey. Own it. Make it happen.

Good for you. I live in the Northwoods and going outside in the cold at 4: doesn't work for me. Hope to do exercises more in the world.

You need to make this journey attainable and maintainable. This isn't about pleasing anyone other than yourself.

Good for you. emoticon

The first step is the most important. You're on the right path!

I have just come here to proclaim that I get it! Today is the first day of dieting and exercising MY way. I am only going to do what I know I can maintain for the the rest of my life. I am going to stop comparing my diet and exercise routines to everyone else's and I am going to do what works for me and do what will make me happy. 60 mins of cardio 5-6 times a week isn't for me. Neither is 1500 calories a day. It makes me exhausted, sore, and unmotivated. After years of struggling to keep up with what everyone else was doing I finally understand that this is MY journey and only I should design it.
