Good for you! Give yourself a big "ATTAGIRL"!! BTW, when I lived up north I used a hair dryer to thaw the ice on the door. Or you could heat water in the microwave and pour it on the door. Unless it is so cold the water would freeze immediately.. Keep a towel in the car, and when you are getting out on a wet day, just run it around the door seals and it might keep it from freezing... all the advice I know... Have a great day!

It is COLD this morning. Seriously! I went to head for the gym and my car doors were frozen shut! I spent a good five minutes pulling on them and trying every door. Nothing! Sounds like a great excuse to head back inside and under the covers "until it warms up" (or maybe all day), right?
Not this time! I went back inside and caught sight of a small hatchet. I wedged it into the crack around the door and I got that sucker open! I made it to the gym and did my hour on the treadmill. Then, with five minutes left to go, one of the trainers announced he was offering a free yoga class starting in ten minutes. I've always wanted to try yoga. If I hadn't spent so much time struggling with my frozen vehicle, I'd have been out the door and missed that opportunity. Worse yet, I could have gone back to bed and missed both my regular workout and the class. Its amazing how good things start to fall into place when you keep yourself on the right track.
