I absolutely love the smell of my DH when he puts on freshly clean pjs and snuggles up. I also really like the smell of musk that he wears on the special occasions.

I like it when people wear understated fragrances. Not the bold smack you in the face with their cologne or perfume, just a whiff of a pleasant smell as they walk by or I'm in close vicinity to them.

I like clean smelling people most fragrances are too artificial. If you need to wear a scent I like essential oils, especially the deep ones like sandalwood. I think that it seems good on everyone but I should have to be hugging you to smell it.

I dislike discerning scents of any kind on another person.

Prada Candy is amazing on a woman, as is Dolce & Gabbana The One. Those are my favourites, although Chanel has some nice scents too.

For me, my current favourite is Gucci Guilty, followed closely by Chanel Bleu.

I love scents and buy them for my DW whenever I find a nice one; she reciprocates too.

Fahrenheit turns my head every time. It's very subtle, so I usually only catch it as somebody passes by, but I ALWAYS notice.

I'm not a fan of most perfumes or colognes (being allergic might have something to do with that), but have been around a few of the musk-based ones that seem quite nice.

What will catch my attention every time is the natural scent of a man, with a trace of sweat, and a hint of 2-cycle engine oil...

Ahhhh, memories...

Afraid of a colonoscopy? Believe me - they are much less frightening than surgery and chemotherapy.

Colonoscopies allow polyps to be removed before they can become cancer, or let cancers be found before they are too widespread. Please don't let fear stop you - cover your butt!

I like the smell of a guy who is fresh out of the shower and shaved.

As for the fragrances I get most compliments on ....vanilla and lavender

Note: This is not a discussion about how some folks put on too much cologne or perfume so let's assume we all hate it when folks do that.

Women: what scent(s) on a man (or your man) are pleasant to you?

Men: same question.

For me; I do like the smell of perfume but since I don't know or ask about brand names I don't really know what to call a scent that I like but I did find out that flora-based perfumes are not to my liking. I do like the natural scent of a woman but of course that's subjective and so it's not EVERY woman. Lastly, clothes on anyone that smells like Downey fabric softener makes me melt.

EDIT: you may answer the question replacing the words "the opposite gender" with "people".
