I love both, and while I'm not deep into the fandom I grew up with them so it's a pretty much life-long love of both. I prefer, much to the dismay of my cousin (who was my entree into nerd culture), Star Trek over Star Wars. Absolutely nothing wrong with Star Wars, I just am more drawn to Star Trek than Star Wars.

Oh this is a real toughie but if I had to absolutely pick one over the other; Star Trek -- all episodes including my favourite "The Trouble with Tribbles"
My husband would kill if he knew my answer, which is Star Trek, but I have only seen the newest movies recently. However I am guarunteed to see a star wars movie monthly, b/c my husbands man cave is 100 covered in star wars toys!! My childs college tuition sits in that room!

Love Star Trek, all versions and spinoffs, but I also really like the original Star Wars movies (not so fond of the new ones).
Lay aside life-harming heaviness and entertain a cheerful disposition.

Star Wars all the way. I was forced to watch Star Trek when I was young, and I hated it

You can keep the original. I'm not a shatner fan. I have liked the rest of the star trek shows along with the new movies. But.... I also love the star wars 4-6 movies. 1-3 have great special effects, but the story wasn't well written and cgi yoda is just wrong.

Same here. I enjoyed Star Wars, but am a die-hard fan of Star Trek in all its incarnations.

I just want to say that I am NOT anti-Star Wars but if I had my choice it'd be Star Trek
