I love green tea. I used to hate it but I wanted to like it for the benefits. Now I can drink it with out a sweetener. My favorite is the Zen by Tazo. It's spearmint and lemongrass. But so far I also like the Lipton varieties.
My doctor actually recommended green tea to rev my sluggish metabolism (due to meds).
I drink it hot but most of the time I make a pitcher of ice tea with it. I feel more energized and yes I believe satisfied.

big tea drinker (I usually drink over 1l a day)... love it green tea does satisfy the most (that, and yummy jasmine, of course) in my case, too ^_^

I find that any type of hot tea or coffee helps me the same way. I like green tea, early grey and coffee. I just assumed it was having something flavorful that tricked my brain. I don't know.

I have never been a tea drinker. I like coffee. Still drink coffee in the morning, but have started drinking green tea in between meals. I must say, I can't explain WHY it satisfies me so much, but it just does. I don't even really love the taste of plain green tea, but after drinking a cup, I am satiated for a full hour or so after, even if I feel like I am starving before I drink it. I don't feel that way drinking water, that's for sure, even though green tea is just water and tea leaves. I wonder why it makes me feel so satiated... anyway, I can see why people say green tea helps with weight loss. It is really helping me keep to my calorie ranges!
