Loved the post, thanks for sharing! Our dog kills bunnies on a fairly regular basis...maybe we should start eating them. With some kale of course.

Too funny. I actually am pretty picky about my food, but try to remember Dr. Yoni Freidhoff's maxim -- Strive to live the healthiest life you can ENJOY, not the healthiest life you can TOLERATE. I'm tolerating the last of the Valentine's chocolate right now. ;-)

Starting Weight: 260 lbs. (November 2010)
Quasi-Maintenance: 165 lbs. (June 2011)
Goal Weight: 150 lbs. (reached December 8, 2011)

Size 22W to Size 4

Currently maintaining within 5 lbs. (+ or -) of goal. I weigh daily, but also use a tape measure and the fit of my clothes to guage how well I'm doing.

That made me laugh right out loud several times. Especially the paragraph about the rabbit. LOL

That was hilarious. I've been so confused for so long about different approach's to healthy living. I was interested in the 'plant-based' eating way for awhile and then realized I miss my fish, seafood, and poultry. Then there's the paleo people who endorse cod liver oil, coconut oil, etc. and eat bucket loads of it, because you won't get fat. Nope that old calories in calories out myth is outdated. You just stay away from grains and the fat will magically disappear.

I need my grains! I can't live without them. I also like my meat and fat.

Moderation for me.

hilarious, just hilarious! That made my day. Reading that and/or listening to Dr. Oz will make you pull your hair out! Or wait! Is that a side effect of one of those foods? LOL!

"That veggie burger in the freezer? GMO soy. Basically that’s a Monsanto patty."

I cannot stop laughing, because that sounds like something *I* would say...and I can even *hear* my own voice saying it in this "certain tone of voice" ahahaha! (I have some... uhm... "strong feelings" about Monsanto, GMO, and the global-industrial food system, heh).

That was a hilarious read, yes I can definitely relate! Thanks for the link!

I was reading Mayim Bialik's facebook page, and she posted this hilarious link that I think anyone (but particularly us board regulars) is going to appreciate.
