Unfortunately, targeted workouts will not reduce the fat on your body where you want it to. All the ab work in the world will not get rid of a pooch, nothing can nuke love handles, no tricep workouts will target bat wings.
Fat loss is a total body process. Continue doing whole body strength training, and over time you will see results. "Toning" is a marketing buzz word that lies to us! All those late night informercials promising that you can whittle away your belly if you just buy their product? A big old fib.
So don't worry about those love handles. They'll come off when they come off, and not a moment before.
