Hey there, LILOLME105! I noticed you've already lost 36 pounds - well done! I think you're pretty modest about what you've accomplished so far, having taken a peek at your blog :) I found it was a matter of progress, rather than perfection, so I allowed myself a little leeway, but not too often.
The best thing you can do to ensure your progress - and success - is, I believe, use your tracker. Make sure you account for everything you take in. I don't know about you, but my "food-intake memory" is not all that great at times, so having a complete record will be the best way I know for you to manage that 1-2 lb./week weight loss we often strive for.
Keep on keepin' on! You're doing fine.

Don't beat on yourself because you're not perfect. It's only been five days since you decided you wanted to make healthy changes. Remember, you're trying to change habits learned over a lifetime, that's not going to happen overnight, a week, a month or even a year. Change takes time, thus the need to be patient with yourself and your body.
You don't have to be a perfect eater to be healthy. Spark People is all about moderation and portion control. However, these are things you really don't learn overnight. They do take time. So, don't freak out if you're making mistakes. WE ALL made mistakes. It's part of the learning process. What matters is what you learn from those mistakes.
So, as the old song goes,"accentuate the positive and eliminate the negative". Give yourself credit for all the positive things you've been doing during the day and try not to get upset if there are negatives. Once again, we all have negatives. With time, those positives will out number those negatives. That's what counts.
You're doing just fine, don't worry !
