Heather - depends what you put with it. The poster who loves it puts low-cal Italian dressing. Now, it wouldn't take too much to OD on even a low-cal dressing.
The broccoli test only works if you actually like broccoli, at least a little bit, and as someone pointed out, not if you love it. Choose any food that is something you don't mind eating, really, but not something you'd choose as a treat. I usually use apples.
If you choose a vegetable you hate, you'll never really find it tempting and never think you're actually 'hungry'. Conversely, use a vegie you love and you'll never realise you weren't actually hungry.

I just get a big bowl of broccoli. ;) That way, I'm getting a healthy dose of veggies, and enjoying a tasty snack that's super filling!
Broccoli is the real "super food" - I dare you to overeat on it.

Good Find!! Somewhat difficult for those of us who **Love** Broccoli though.... Its just about my favorite veggie! Leftovers for lunch, with a bit of low cal Italian dressing; I can really stuff myself!
