How on earth do they not read the question?

Or do they actually read the question, and say "Screw It, I'm gonna give an answer that has absolutely nothing to do with the question at hand."

Inquiring minds want to know

EELPIE,

That sounds like a great new thread to me ! Why not start it so that you don't have to hijack Michelle's breakfast post. The poor thing already had one thread deleted, let's not go two for two.

I was always wondering about that....do people simply read the question in the title, and quick hit "reply" without somehow opening the thread and reading the question?

How on earth do they not read the question?

Or do they actually read the question, and say "Screw It, I'm gonna give an answer that has absolutely nothing to do with the question at hand."

I like fruit, yogurt, a hard boiled egg, sweet potatoes (I know, strange thing), shredded wheat, and Honey bunches of oats for a few different healthy breakfast options. And coffee. Cant forget that!

pancakes with hashbrowns.

They don't go together and I don't think i will ever have them at the same time again (miss you grand slam!), but it's my ultimate top two favorites.

I will take the bacon with a side of bacon and a little Belgian waffle.

I agree with you Eelpie. The one answer questions aren't so bad, but one must read the original post.

If I could only pick one item and one side dish--eggs and toast.

But, if I could have anything, I'd have pancakes, eggs, bacon and hash browns!

I'd have the vegan version ( yes, there's such a thing. Made it this morning!) of a omelette fat with veggies, a bagel, and home fries!

I agree with FAITHP44 - if we're going for greasy - might as well have real food like the Full English, but you can keep the hash browns and baked beans. When we ran a B&B in London, US guests often put jam or marmalade on their Full English, like a condiment!!!!

I'm seriously side-eying the people giving the ONE LETTER answers. Come on now. Read the original post.

I would definitely go for an omelette (mushroom, broccoli, mozzarella) with some homefries. Can I put ketchup on my homefries?

Michelle, if this is the thread you were asking about the other day... Yeah, it got deleted because people were answering with just letters or just one phrase. This type of thread should go in the Game Room forum. This version of it may get deleted, too, because threads with huge numbers of very short answers are a mess for the techies to deal with.

Calories don't count ?

Count me in with the Belgian waffle crowd. Preferably topped with whipped cream, banana and a drizzle of chocolate sauce.

Any of these will do.

For side ? What else... BACON.

PS - FAITHP44, I know at least one place in Boston where you can find a full English breakfast. I haven't been there, but I have eaten the full Irish breakfast at a local pub. Had the black and white pudding with it. yum.

Oh come on! Where's the full English???If I go out for breakfast it has to be bacon, eggs, tomatoes, mushrooms, hash browns, beans, fried bread, toast, butter, marmalade or jam. Don't you guys do that in the states? Oh, and a cup of tea.

If I'm just choosing from your oh so restricted menu - it will have to be eggs.

LOUNMOUN Posts: 1,332

If I had to eat at a restaurant for breakfast and they only had these foods on the menu then I suppose I would order French toast with bacon.

Based on my tastebuds, I would rather eat non-breakfast foods for breakfast but I'm not going to skip eating anything just 'cause they don't have what I prefer on the menu at that time of day.

Based completely on your tastebuds, in a world where calories and nutrients don't exist....
If you had to pick ONE of the following (no other options available) from a menu which would you choose:
a. Eggs or Omelet
b. Pancakes
c. French toast
d. Waffles
e. if those were the only options I'd just order a beverage

*ONE side option as well: toast, biscuit, bacon, homefries
