And PIPERJ4A just won 900 brownie points! LMBO!

Took out the turkey to thaw this morning. Today I'm sweeping and mopping. Tomorrow-baking pies (apple and pumpkin) and getting ready to make pumpkin soup which will be lunch...Uh...just the soup, not the pies. I will probably bake the mac and cheese tomorrow, too.

I just want to say thank you to all the women out there that put so much effort into preparing the meals for the holidays. God knows I wouldn't have a clue on how to cook a turkey, let alone all the stuff that goes with it. Keep up the good work ladies.

I like that Lisa! Happy Thanksgiving everyone. I started my prep too - I took the turkey out of the freezer to thaw. Wednesday is pie cooking. Thanksgiving is cooking for only a few people.

I have to work all week (until Thursday/Friday of course). So I'm stressing out a little bit about getting it all done, since this is my first time hosting! It didn't help that I was out of town until yesterday. I did already set the table and tasked my boyfriend with clearing off the dining room buffet so we have somewhere to put the food. Tonight I have to finish cleaning and give the dog a bath LOL But thankfully, my mom is arriving tomorrow night, so I'm putting her to work in my kitchen while I'm at work on Wednesday!

Other then the holiday breads I have baked and froze these past few weeks my prepping starts today. I will be prepping for the meal. I need to make the frozen cranberry cream cheese pie. I need to cube up all the breads in my fridge and toast them along with making some cornbread and cubing that up and toasting it too for my dressing. Tomorrow cookie baking emoticon emoticon .Wednesday pie baking, and homemade specialty breads such as a sour dough bread, an olive, onion and cheese bread, a jalapeno and cheese bread. Thursday is Happy Thanksgiving Day and busy time in kitchen with thankful thoughts in my mind and heart and great family time! Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
