I got a few yoga DVDs and have a couple of Pilates DVDs on the way this week. And now that I have chromecast, I can happily use the YouTube videos on my tv. I hate using my laptop or iPad. I don't like the smaller screens. :)

Last week was one of those weeks I normally would have found excuses to stop eating healthy and give up again. My husband was out of town, I couldn't go to yoga all week because I had no sitter, and my weight was up all week from the week before.
Instead of just saying, "screw it," I read threads by members who were worried about their weight loss over and over again. So I told myself it was just water, likely from too much salt or maybe even from skipping yoga, and I mostly stayed in my ranges and measured myself last Monday. All my measurements were down at least 1/4 inch, so I knew I hadn't gained any actual fat. I measured myself again yesterday (I forgot on Monday), and, while my thighs and upper arms were the same size, I lost 1 1/2 inches in my waist, 1 1/4 inches in my hips, and 1/2 inch in my calves. I went back to yoga Sunday and Monday, and also surprised myself by finding that I was significantly increased in flexibility since the last time I had been to class. I was and then .
It should also be noted that my weight has suddenly dropped over the last two days and is now at its lowest point since I restarted so far, after suddenly needing to wake up in the middle of the night two nights in a row to pee (which is something that happens very rarely lol).
I don't post in a panic about these things because, logically, I KNOW all the reasons weird things happen with the numbers on the scale from day to day and week to week. I tell myself weight loss isn't fat loss all the time, and that weight loss isn't linear. But for the first time, I was actually able to keep my actions in line with that knowledge. And I owe it all to you and your posts to others worrying about the same thing.
Thank you for helping to motivate me to stay on track, especially when I'm feeling lazy or discouraged for a bit. You're all awesome!
