Yes, even a piece of pie CAN be a part of a healthy lifestyle as long as you are mindful of the portion. I can't imagine living a life where I wasn't allowed to eat something because I was worried I'd gain weight. that's not healthy.
It's up to you. No one will think less of you if you decide to have a small piece. And you can say,"no thank you".

Hold yourself accountable and track all the pie you're eating. Remember that no one can sabotage you unless you let them. It is fully within your capacity to resist the pie or to eat a reasonable serving and that's it. You have the choice and the power in this situation.
