If it's not going to work into your calories and if it's not going to be your one treat item of the day, you made a great choice. :) There will always be another cookie. My mantra is "it's not worth it". When I want to eat something I shouldn't at that time, I tell myself that it's not worth it. I've never been able to talk myself into something that's not worth it.

Sugar is like a drug for me. I can't have just one. I seriously feel my brain lighting up with excitement. I've learned my lesson on that. Unless it's a birthday, family or mine, not coworker, a holiday or fancy restaurant, I just have to stay away.
And why are people bringing such junk to a fitness center. You should start a new trend of bringing healthy treats to share.

I have chosen to stay away. I am still trying to get my head right again with making mindful choices. So it would be best for my tush and hips that I do stay away right now. However in the future I may decide it is the right time for me to make that choice.

How big is the cookie ? If it's bigger than your palm, DON'T DO IT ! However, it's a small cookie, who says you can't have a cookie ? As long as you are mindful of the portion, you can eat a cookie. I can't imagine a life where I wasn't allowed to eat something because I was worried I'd gain weight. that's not healthy. a cookie or brownie or piece of pizza, candy, soda, etc CAN all be a part of a healthy lifestyle as long as you are mindful of that portion.
So, are you going to be mindful of your portion if you eat a cookie OR are you going to eat those cookies as if all cookies were going to disappear from the Earth tomorrow ?

Well... it IS true, "one cookie won't hurt you" but it also does nothing to HELP you, and it WILL NOT TASTE AS GOOD AS YOUR MIND IS TELLING YOU IT WILL.
It might not "hurt" you but YOU DO NOT WANT IT. You are CHOOSING to say no to it! Sorry cookie, maybe another day when i pre-plan you into my day. For today, I didn't plan for you, you didn't call ahead and make an appointment with my mouth, so you are STAYING ON THAT TRAY.
Goal 1 - break 200 (46 pounds lost)**DONE** Goal 2 - leave obesity behind (BMI 29.9, at 185#) **DONE** Goal 3 - BMI = Normal (154# or less)
If you feel it will wreck you. If you are good with small "treats", then go ahead. Personally, I can't have just one so I just don't have any but some people have the willpower to. You know yourself, believe in yourself and your insticts.

So someone brought in pizza and cookies today here at work (now mind you I work at a fitness facility), I posted somewhere else that I turned them down earlier today, but now it seems that there is something telling me that I can have 1 cookie...it won't hurt me!!! Someone hold me back.....
