if your numbers come in ok then don't worry about the carbs part of your eating. You must be doing well there. sounds like you are doing well for protein and fats also.
It's the calories. You need to get AT LEAST the minimum target caloric intake that Spark suggests to lose weight. this number may change a bit if you do exercise b/c you have to have the food to fuel the exercise. Your food tracker will make these adjustments for you. My suggestion is to put everything that goes into your mouth also into your nutrition tracker it'll tell you if you are getting adequate calories or if you are getting too much.
Please don't try to undercut the lowest recommended caloric intake for your specific needs your body needs fuel just to to maintain itself. If you are diligent and follow the recommended ranges and exercise the weight will come off.

Do you mean you're under your recommended calorie range or that you stay under *the top* of your calorie range?
Fats help with satiety and there are also plenty of vitamins that require fat to be absorbed so yes, fats are important in a balanced diet. Introduce more foods like cold water fish (such as salmon), avocado, nuts/nut butters, seeds/seed oils, olives/olive oils, whole eggs...
Cut back on your intake of refined carbs/added sugars and replace them with whole grains, vegetables, fruit, legumes/lentils and dairy (plain when it comes to yogurts and add your own fruit or toppings).

I am using the diabetes tracker. I am almost always under for the calorie count but have a harder time meeting the food balance goals. I am rarely more than 20 over in the carbs and protein and maybe 5 to 10 under the fats. Do I need to worry about this. I am on no diabetes medication and my three month. Blood checks are always in the. acceptable range. I am working to lose weight.
