I'm not sure if I'm being too easy on myself or if I'm listening to my body. Today I woke up sore from yesterday's strength training. Instead of swimming or cardio, I slept another hour.
Any suggestions? What's your workout schedule? How did you get there?
I'm having trouble meeting my goals of doing cardio and strength training on alternate days. Usually I feel like resting in between. During the summer I did the cardio on MWF and longed for the strength training on Tu/Th. Now, I'm working on getting my strength training (M/W) and am missing the cardio (Tu/Th).
I know it takes a little discomfort to improve. I'm afraid I'll hurt myself if I push too hard.
Maybe I should just do my cardio on F/Sat. I've been doing it on Saturday, so adding another day should help...Then I could shift it to Th and add Tu later on.
