Today is the first day of school and I'm retired from that for 2 years. I've had a wonderful 2 years of traveling, one of my goals, but I've not taken care, consistently, of my physical self. I had a good run of about 5 months exercising with and without a personal trainer and was making progress and feeling more fit, but my traveling interrupted that and I've not got back to eating healthy and exercising. I'm becoming a slug and hate it. I have still about 30lbs to lose and I envision my old self as being an active older self. That is my mental image.
So today, being the first day of school for teachers, I MADE myself get off the sofa and walk for 50min. I need all the motivational talk and advice you have to offer. I can talk the talk, but need to walk the walk. Thanks for listening. Going to go write down what I've eaten today. I also hate doing that, but I know it helps.
