I'm 28, and I finally, finally, FINALLY learned how to swim! No, I never learned as a child. I was too afraid of deep water. My biggest hurdle was learning to tread water, because I knew that meant being in the deeper water. But I finally did it. I can swim, and tread water, and I am no longer afraid of being in deep water. This is a LIFE LONG FEAR that has kept me from doing so many things. It's never too late...even if you're almost 30! emoticon
