In appropriate portion sizes, there is nothing wrong with sushi.

The Nigiri style (with a piece of fish laying on top, as opposed to the rolls) tends to have more fish/less rice ratio.

Avoid the ones with mayo/sauce in and on them, or with a deep-fried item in the centre.

Consider sashimi (just the fish).

Consider cucumber rolls.

And of course, enjoy!

I plan on have some smoked salmon sushi for lunch today and my question is is, is sushi actually a healthy meal? Alot of people say it is, but it has ALOT of calories and ALOT of carbs. I just wanted to hear from you guys how healthy it really is and if I should just pass.
