I had support from my sons, but they are grown up and I only see my youngest son at the gym sometimes with his friends.. I wanted this so hard, I had to do it for myself. Years and years later the only person keeping me going is me! My husband died, my last partner left me because he couldn't handle watching my success..
I found out that supportive people disappear and I have not met anyone will to go the whole 9 yards day in and out with me.. I made it a private and very personal journey which has paid off with kicking a depression and medications for aching joints..
A decade later I am still at it. But I have to kick my own tail.. Good luck finding your reasons.. I like not being trapped in a unfit body..
I can try to help you. I will be as much of a supporter as I can. I really don't have any support either. I only have one friend, but out schedules are way different so that don't help any. You can add me as a friend on here and I will add you as well, and see where we go.

Hello Spark Friends. I just joined this site and I'm loving it so far. Since I come from a family of overweight, terrible eaters with no intention on changing, I was really hoping to find a support partner here. Some one that I can email, text, and talk to when I'm feeling the pressures of everyday life along my journey. I would also like to be someone who can provide that same support to someone else!! Let me know if you are interested in a new friend and support system!!
