It kind of depends on what kind you got but most of them substitute beautifully for peanut butter.
I use I.M. Healthy Unsweetened and it is awesome with anything and everything!

There are a lot of brands that are stuffed full of sugar (which is why they can be tastier than peanut butter!) So definitely check the nutritional information to get one that is going to be healthy.

its lovely spread on apple slices, I had cashew butter (seriously, dont try if you ever want anything else again! lol) on a sweet crisp apple for breakfasts, really yum.

I just bought a jar of sunflower seed butter, and wow...why is every nut butter 1000% better than peanut butter?

Anyway, beyond eating it out of the jar like a little piggy, what else does anyone recommend doing with it? And has anyone had success using it 1:1 in recipes that call for peanut butter, like cookies, for example? Anybody ever try using it in place of tahini in hummus?
