Sweets didn't phase me until Christmas, but then oh-oh. I have been having a hard time ignoring them. I just threw out the last of the carmel corn. You have the best perspective on this. Starting right now I'm starting my "No Sugar" streak. Thanks!

Yes, it can be done. Last sugary item was Christmas day. Today is day 8 since my last sugary treat. I am getting over the slump, and really don't miss it. (Thank goodness for dried figs. Two of those instead of two chocolates works wonders.)

Save these wonderful treats for very special days (Christmas, Valentine's, Birthday) and they will be a meaningful treat.

I got into the habit of daily chocolates, daily treats. Over time, they were no longer something special, but rather more of an entitlement! Bad.
